About the instructor
Michelle Loh currently conducts Mathematics courses. She is an enthusiastic and experienced Math Tutor, with a passion for helping students to love and succeed in Math. She has experience in teaching various kinds of students, ranging from middle school students to undergraduates. Her most spectacular achievement is successfully securing an average of 90% passes, while attaining at least 30-40% distinctions for her undergraduate students every semester.
She is skilled in breaking down complex Math topics into easier-to-understand concepts and she constantly seeks to build students’ self-confidence by using keyword-analysis and positive reinforcement techniques to bridge the learning gaps in Math. She also emphasizes the importance of good study habits and devises homework schedules to tailor study plans.
Therefore, Michelle Loh is capable of helping students of various ages to build strong foundations and excel in the Mathematics courses listed below.
Teaching is my passion…my life purpose. I desire to ignite students’ curiosity to learn, not for the sake of exams but to pursue life-long learning in order to grow and appreciate all that they have. So, in Mathematics, I help my students to appreciate the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’, to think critically, to persevere through problem-solving and eventually to excel in everything they put their hearts into. My goal is to empower every student to be able to eventually problem-solve questions independently and love to apply Mathematical principles in their future undertakings.
